THE ALLEN WRENCH
provided with the Contura hair trimmers are provided for the removal
of the cutting sets for cleaning. NOT for changing the battery.
TO DISMANTLE EXPERT CLIPPER CUTTING SETS.
- DO NOT USE A TORQUE WRENCH TO DISMANTLE THE EXPERT CUTTING SETS. THEY WILL EXPLODE.
- First lay a towel down on a table to catch and protect the cutting set.
- Hold Wella Expert clipper with both hands just above the towel.
- Face the teeth away from you.
- Put your thumbs on the corners of the cutting set.
- Now push.
If the metal part of the cutting set has fallen off and only the blue plastic part is left.
Find something thin like a screw driver.
Put the thin screw driver between the blue plastic and the expert clipper body and gently twist or pry.
IF YOUR HAIR CLIPPER OR TRIMMER IS PULLING OR CHEWING ON HAIR:
The hair clipper/trimmer blades might be damaged.
Check in good light to see if the blades or the teeth are bent. Be sure
to check both the upper and lower blades.
Also check the very points of the cutting set for flat tips.
HAIR CLIPPER/TRIMMER CUTTING SETS CANNOT BE REBUILT.
If it is broken, whether from being dropped or caused by an unseen terrible
force, you will need to purchase a new one.
IF YOUR WELLA CONTURA HAIR TRIMMER OR EXPERT HAIR CLIPPER BLADES ARE HARD TO MOVE:
Remove the blades from the hair trimmer/clipper.
Remove as much hair from the blades as you can.
Put one drop of wella clipper/trimmer oil in each corner of the blades.
Then with your thumbs try to move the blades back and forth (side to side).
TRY TO AVOID AN OVER ABUNDANCE OF HAIR IN AND UNDER BLADES.
CLEAN YOUR WELLA CONTURA HAIR TRIMMERS AND WELLA EXPERT CLIPPERS REGULARLY. THIS WILL HELP TO EXTEND THE LIFE AND MAINTAIN THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR TRIMMER/CLIPPERS.
Thank you your friendly hair clipper/trimmer technician Ron de Marcoux.
